In the jubilee Mass. the pilgrimage ceremony under the leadership of the bishop of Włocławek, Krzysztof Wętkowski, was attended by Marian priests from the Lichen religious house - Fr. Bogusław Binda, MIC, superior of the community, Fr. Adam Stankiewicz, MIC, vice-custodian of the sanctuary and Fr. Rafał Krauze, MIC, pastor of the Licheń parish.
The parish in Konin-Laskówcu is celebrating its 25th anniversary. She was erected in 1996 and chose as her patron the Restorer of the Congregation of Marian Fathers, Bl. Jerzy Matulewicz. It was established at the junction of the Konin parish of St. Adalbert and the parish of St. Dorothy in Licheń Stary.
An interesting fact is that the local church was built according to the design of prof. Barbara Bielecka, designer of the Lichen basilica. The cornerstone of the temple was blessed by Pope John Paul II in Licheń during his pilgrimage in 1999.
