On January 28-30, another retreat at Our Lady of Lichen was held by the Families of Nazareth Movement.
For the community, it is a meeting with other people and with the Holy Mother who leads us to Jesus, teaching us to live the Holy Spirit and to love God the Father. One hundred adults and fifty children came to the January retreat at the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Licheń. The participants considered the topic: Living with Mary on the way of love. - Many people experience indifference and misunderstandings in the family and outside it, in the immediate vicinity. We want to recognize what love is? To love being loved, says Fr. Mateusz Stachura from Kłodawa, a parish located in the Diocese of Zielona Góra and Gorzów.
Retreats are a series of conferences announced every day. There is also time to share in groups and listen to God's Word.
A large part of the service is performed by animators who have been involved in the preparation of the retreat for two months. - The conditions here are perfect for young couples, we have animators who creatively and spiritually care for children. The proper functioning of a community requires the involvement of lay people. For years, we have been creating a community of the dioceses of the western part of Poland: the dioceses of Szczecin-Kamień, Zielona Góra-Gorzów, Poznań, Wrocław, Legnica - adds Fr. Stachura.
The retreat is crowned with a solemn Holy Mass. sunday in the lichen basilica.
