The construction of the tower started in July 1999 and was completed in 2004. The tower consists of two segments: the first one starts at a depth of 8 m below ground level and reaches a height of 72.5 m above the surface. The second segment with a steel structure is 114 m long. The last element crowning the tower is a column with a ball on which a 5.86 m high cross and 3.62 m span is placed.
