Students of the Primary School John Paul II from Dominów, visited the Licheń sanctuary. They participated in the Holy Mass. held in the Licheń basilica at 12.00. Earlier, they visited the Papal Apartments, where they could see souvenirs left by John Paul II, the patron of their school.
- Lichen is a very important place for us, mainly in spiritual terms, but it is also closely related to our patron, St. John Paul II. We try to visit the sanctuary every few years to show our students this wonderful place and tell them a little more about the patron. Not only at school, but also during such trips. We always try to combine it with the Lenten retreats in our parish, in order to live this time as fruitfully as possible, ”explained the organizer of the pilgrimage, Mr. Aleksander Kubiaczyk, the school's director.
From April this year. please visit Papal Apartments in the following order: Saturday at 10.00-18.00; Sunday hours 10.00 a.m. - 4.00 p.m. The facility will also be open on Saturday, April 16, from 10.00 a.m. - 4.00 p.m. On April 17-18 this year. the apartments will be closed.
