Resurrection Sunday - Love has conquered death

During the Eucharist, we rise from our weakness, sin and death. We are filled with God's love and the Holy Spirit, thus gaining strength to abide in our daily and earthly life - so that at the end we may be resurrected to the fullness of life forever

On Easter Sunday, the Church rejoices in the Resurrection of Christ: "God, today through your Son you have overcome death and opened the gates of eternal life for us, let us, by celebrating the Lord's Resurrection, be renewed by the Holy Spirit and be resurrected to a new life in light. ".
The main Holy Mass in the Licheń basilica was celebrated by Fr. Janusz Kumala, MIC, curator of the sanctuary. In the homily, the curator talked about the Marians - priests Nicholas and Anatoly, who serve in Kharkiv. "They stayed with the people they serve," said Fr. Mikołaj Bieliczewo for the Vatican Radio:
“God stays with us, he works great miracles. What we need gives us from very different people. Cares. People's openness is strange. That's why this city is still alive. We are in the same situation today as the apostles after Jesus died. There is some hope, but a resurrection ... it is not today (...) we are like disciples who have not met Jesus yet
Resurrection. We hear that He is risen, but we have not yet touched His wounds. On the one hand, we experience this joy, because God is working, He gives powerful signs. And we will celebrate because Jesus is truly risen. But there is still a way to go before us. "
Christ rose from the dead! He "conquered death" and "opened the gates of heaven" for us so that we "may be renewed by the Holy Spirit and rise to a new life in the light" (from the collection).

To meet Christ is to experience that He lives. Jesus is in the Church. It is in us and it is for us. It is not just a custom that we come to the Church for Holy Mass. It was like that from the beginning. The first Christians gathered on Sunday to break bread, regardless of difficulties and persecution. The Church lives because Christ is alive and present

“Today's solemnity, an event we are living in the Church, tells about this journey: the resurrection of Jesus. What is it for us? On what path does the Risen One lead us? " - Fr. Kumala encouraged those questions to be asked.
“To meet Christ is to experience that He lives. Jesus is in the Church. It is in us and it is for us. It is not just a custom that we come to the Church for Holy Mass. It was like that from the beginning. The first Christians gathered on Sunday to break bread, regardless of difficulties and persecution. The Church lives because Christ is alive and present. "
Referring to the situation that we can observe in the world, the curator said: “There are no graves from which Christ would not bring us out. This is our hope. This is how we can look at the situations we know from home, at the situation in the world. On this occasion, we celebrate the victory of love over evil, "he added, encouraging us to see the enormity of evil that is around the light of good and believe that it always has the last word, it will always overcome evil. According to the celebrant, we can also notice it now in Poland, where in reaction to the war across the eastern border a great deal of good and support has been liberated. "This is love, the victory of good," he emphasized.
