Sanctuary Wind Quintet

The Sanctuary Wind Quintet consists of professional musicians, graduates and students of the Music Academies of Poznań, Łódź and Bydgoszcz. The founder, Maciej Gwóźdź graduated with honors from the Academy of Music in Poznań, he is the first trumpeter of the Grand Theater Orchestra in Poznań. From spring 2019, the band enriches the greatest events in the sanctuary with their music. The quintet's repertoire consists of sacred pieces, church songs and broadly understood chamber music. The sound of wind instruments perfectly harmonizes with the acoustics prevailing in the basilica.
