A one-day retreat for entrepreneurs organized at the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Licheń focused on the theme of "the civilization of love".
The day of recollection, for which entrepreneurs from all over Poland came to Licheń, was led by Fr. Dr. Rafał Ostrowski, diocesan chaplain of entrepreneurs and employers "Talent" in the Archdiocese of Poznań. - We reflect on what the Lord Jesus says and the teaching of the Church in the end ofthe text of the term "civilization of love", first used in 1970 by Pope Paul VI. We deepen our understanding of this message and look for ways to put it into practice in our lives. As entrepreneurs, we have a significant influence on other people and it is worth encouraging them to also want to implement love in their lives - said Fr. Ostrowski.
During the conferences and discussion panels, participants focused on the topics of: truth, character development, that is, in religious language - growth in virtues and responsibility, based on the teaching of Bl. Fr. card. Wyszyński. - We can act in a world surrounded by regulations and laws guided by love - emphasized Fr. Ostrowski. During the retreat, there was an opportunity to meet Christ during services and personal prayer.
Jolanta Wasilewska, a business trainer from Infinity Power International, noted that participating in retreats makes it easier to translate certain tasks into life, for example, evangelizing other people. - These meetings give me a deeper understanding of the role of a Catholic - said Jolanta Wasilewska. She also admitted that the Licheń sanctuary is a great place to organize a retreat.
For the first time, Piotr Sobczyński from the Wandea Institute of Conservative Thought Foundation came to the retreat for entrepreneurs. - It's a small, homogeneous group. That is why the topics discussed are close to everyone else. We came to wonder what to do in this world around us. I wanted to tell you about the program that we are implementing at the foundation and learn interesting things, it's worth listening to. The sanctuary itself as a place is moving, it all affects the spirit - said Piotr Sobczyński.
The retreaters also renewed the recognition of Christ the King, which was made by the Polish Bishops' Conference a few years ago, uniting with the message of the Catholic Church in Poland.
