Today in our sanctuary we have celebrated the Day of Prayers through the intercession of St. Joseph for men and family fathers, that they may be strengthened by the word of God and the example of St. Józefa courageously took up their duties. Pilgrims also remembered about war-martyred husbands and fathers from Ukraine.
Every war comes from the human heart, and peace also comes from the human heart. A heart overwhelmed by hatred begins to kill everyone around, and a heart overwhelmed by love brings peace. (...) What to do to stop the war, to persevere on the way of life and vocation? The only way is a changed heart, and the Sunday Gospel according to St. Luke. An evangelist in the story of the Transfiguration on Mount Tabor gives a clue. The first step is to let Christ take us with him. The second is to make an effort, to climb Mount Tabor - we must make the effort to pursue holiness. Another is entering the space of transformation in prayer, this is when God cleans our hearts, touches us with love. It is not about praying briefly during the day, but being in love with God. The disciples accompanying Christ, although drowsy with sleep, were engulfed in a cloud and heard the voice of God.
