On August 14, the memory of St. Maximilian Maria Kolbe, in the Licheń sanctuary prayed for the intention of couples having problems conceiving a child.
Let this intention of today be close to us. Let us pay attention to these couples because they want their home to be filled with the noise of their children. Let us embrace these intentions with our prayer
Main Mass. in front of the Miraculous Picture of Our Lady of Licheń at 12.00 was presided over by Fr. Janusz Kumala, MIC, the curator of the sanctuary, who in his homily encouraged such married couples to pray.
- “We live in the world to reach heaven. Tomorrow's celebration will raise our eyes to heaven. Here on earth we do not have a permanent house or apartment - we are just passers-by to come closer to God and enjoy Him for all eternity, ”said Fr. Janusz Kumala, MIC.
The model of such a pilgrimage is Mary, who fulfilled God's will in every moment of her life. - "Today we want to ask the Lord Jesus to increase the love in our life, following the example of Mary."
Referring to the figure of St. Maximilian Maria Kolbe, the priest said that he was a model of a life full of love towards God and other people. - "St. Maximilian looked at Mary and was involved in saving and helping people. He was an instrument in the hand of God. Suffering and death in Auschwitz are the quintessence of his way - heroic love to the very end ”.
Infertility is not a punishment on the part of God
At the end of the Mass a prayer for married couples wanting children was read.
