In previous years, at noon in May, a crowd of believers surrounded the White Chapel in Grąblin, hiding a pine trunk on which the Miraculous Image of Our Lady of Licheń was hung.
Every year the faithful thanked for the gift of the apparitions during the Eucharist. This year, due to the pandemic, the ceremonial celebrations in Grąblin did not take place, but the Marian priests commemorated the anniversary during the Holy Mass. in the lichen basilica. - The words that Nicholas heard during the apparitions are important and relevant also today. Mary invites you to conversion, fasting and prayer. By following this path, a lot can be achieved - in our earthly pilgrimage and in the hope of eternal life - said Fr. Bogusław Binda, superior of the Lichen community of Marian priests and brothers.
The Licheń sanctuary invites you on its Facebook profile to a virtual "Guided Walk", which reveals many interesting facts in the Grąblin forest. It tells about the apparitions themselves and subsequent events in the life of the shepherd.
The Grąblin Forest, the place of apparitions of Our Lady of Licheń, is an important part of the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Licheń. On several hectares of the former pine forest, there are places of Our Lady's apparitions, surrounded by special veneration, and the Stations of the Cross connected by alleys. Pilgrims can also walk along the path of the rosary, which was created in response to Mary's exhortation to conversion and the prayer of the rosary. The forest is bordered by the Church of Our Lady of the Ten Virtues and the only convent of the Annunciade Sisters in Poland, who surround the sanctuary with their prayers.
