In the memory of the Blessed Virgin Mary Queen on August 22, when the Church renews consecration to the Immaculate Heart of Mary, the Annunciade nuns thanked for the 10th anniversary of staying at the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Licheń and the dedication of the Church of the 10 Evangelical Virtues of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Grąblin. Holy Mass was chaired by Fr. Wiesław Mering, bishop of Włocławek.
Those gathered in the church in Grąblin were welcomed by Fr. Janusz Kumala, MIC, custodian of the Lichen sanctuary. - Exactly 10 years ago, the bishop consecrated this temple, for which we are grateful. The Church of the 10 Evangelical Virtues of the Blessed Virgin Mary is a holy place in the place of the apparitions of Our Lady of Lichen, sanctified by the prayer and penance of millions of pilgrims. The Annunciade Sisters pray for all pilgrims, the Licheń parish and the entire diocese of Włocławek. Bishops, we are grateful for the care for the local Church and people of consecrated life in our diocese - said Fr. Janusz Kumala, recalling that there are three communities of consecrated life in Licheń: the Annunciade Sisters, the Sisters of the Holy Name of Jesus and the Marian Fathers of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary. The custodian priest assured the bishop of Włocławek about prayer and also asked for prayer support.
The homily was delivered by Fr. Eugeniusz Zarzeczny, MIC, the priest of the Major Seminary of the Congregation of Marian Fathers in Lublin. He noticed that in the monastery in Grąblin, the faithful experienced a deep love of God and the Mother of God. - Mary shows that you can be close to God and not lose anything - he explained, referring to the Old Testament symbol of a burning bush that stood in flames but did not burn. - God's fire allowed Mary to understand the meaning of her life. God is most pleased with an open heart that trusts in Him. We thank the Sisters that, in the silence of the church and oratory, they pray and ask for favors for all. May God be blessed for their presence and rich spirituality, said the Marian.
After the Eucharist, the sisters sang joyful Magnificatglorifying God. Mother Maria of the Beatitudes, the abbess of France - the Virgin Mary, who put her strength in God, shows us the way of poverty and fragility, expressing her gratitude for the 10 years of the stay of the Annunciade Sisters in Grąblin. The Order of the Annunciades remains small in number, called to pray. We are grateful for the reception of the Annunciade Sisters by the Marian priests and the local inhabitants of Grąblin. Thank you that we can carry out our mission of giving glory to God in front of Mary, said a mother from France. Sister Ludwika Maria, the Superior of the Lichen Community of Annunciades, also thanked Fr. bp. Mering for presiding over the Eucharist, and Fr. Monsignor Zbigniew Cabański, the bishop's vicar and the Marian priests for concelebrating the Holy Mass. She was glad to see everyone present.
The representatives of the parish council, internet evangelization communities and the village authorities of Grąblin expressed their best wishes to the birthday sisters. - The Annunciade Sisters would not be here if it were not for the service of the Marian priests in Licheń. Many words of appreciation to the sisters, we have something to thank for. Both congregations are very important on the map of the Włocławek Church, which has almost 900 years of history. I am glad that he was enriched with communities of consecrated life - thanked the Bishop.
